Greenipp.com, managed by GreenIPP B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “GreenIPP”),is committed to respect your privacy and to comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect and use personal data where GreenIPP is the data controller or where we refer to the applicability of this Policy. “Personal data” means information relating to you or another identifiable individual.

We will give you additional privacy information or sign express Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with you that are specific to our work. If there is a difference between such notices or NDAs and this Policy, the notices should be considered first.

If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use our products and services or provide GreenIPP with your personal data.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect your personal data and other information when you use our services as presented on this site, take part in campaigns or research or otherwise interact with us.

Do We Share Personal Data?

  • Your consent and social sharing services We may share your personal data if we have your consent to do so. 
  • GreenIPP affiliates and authorized third parties We may share your personal data with other GreenIPP affiliates or authorized third parties who process personal data for GreenIPP for the purposes described in this Policy. 

These authorized third parties are not permitted to use your personal data for any other purposes. We require them to act consistently with this Policy and to use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.  

  • Mandatory disclosures We may be obligated by mandatory law to disclose your personal data to certain authorities or other third parties, for example, to law enforcement agencies in the countries where we or third parties acting on our behalf operate. We may also disclose and otherwise process your personal data in accordance with applicable law to defend GreenIPP’s legitimate interests, for example, in civil or criminal legal proceedings.

What Steps Are Taken To Safeguard Personal Data?

Privacy and security are key considerations in the creation and delivery of our products and services. We have assigned specific responsibilities to address privacy and security related matters. We enforce our internal policies and guidelines through an appropriate selection of activities, including proactive and reactive risk management, security and privacy engineering, training and assessments. We take appropriate steps to address online security, physical security, risk of data loss and other such risks taking into consideration the risk represented by the processing and the nature of the data being protected. Also, we limit access to our data bases containing personal data to authorized persons having a justified need to access such information.

Data Protection Officer

In order to ensure full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation EU No. 2016/679 of the EU (“GDPR”), GreenIPP has appointed a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”). It has a duty to maintain high level of expertise in the applicable data protection regulations, including the GDPR, and the GDPR Implementation Bill (Uitvoeringswet Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming), expected to enter into force on the same date - 25 May 2018. If you have any concerns or specific questions about the applicable personal data policies and practices, please refer to the information below.

The DPO is responsible to monitor and communicate any data protection issues to the relevant Data Protection Authority, and to report regularly to the highest level of management. GreenIPP hereby declares that the DPO does not carry out activities that do or may result in a conflict of interest, has good legal standing and relevant capacity to hold the office appointed.

 

 

How Do We Use Cookies?

GreenIPP uses cookies and other similar technologies to operate and improve our websites and better tailor your website experience. We also use cookies for personalization and to display ads. 

Our domains may include third party elements that set cookies on behalf of a third party, for example relating to third party social network. 

What Are Your Rights?

You have a right to know what personal data we hold about you. You have a right to have incomplete, incorrect, unnecessary or outdated personal data deleted or updated. You have a right to unsubscribe from direct marketing messages and to request that we stop processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes or on other compelling legal grounds. However, if you opt-out from marketing and other communications from GreenIPP, critical alerts may still be sent to you.

b)   Receive confirmation as to whether personal information concerning yourself is processed, where, and for what purpose, as well as to receive, free of charge, copy of the personal data in an electronic format;

c)   be forgotten – i.e. upon your request we shall erase all your personal data. This right is subject to certain conditions, as we have the duty to evaluate and compare this right to the public interest in the availability of the data;

d)   receive the information applicable to yourself "in a commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller;

You may exercise your rights by contacting us. In some cases, especially if you wish us to delete or stop processing your personal data, this may also mean that we may not be able to continue to provide the services to you.

If you wish to confirm that GreenIPP is processing your personal data, or to have access to the personal data the IAPP may have about you, please contact us at info@greenipp.com. Based on the above, you have a right to correct (rectify) the record of your personal data maintained by GreenIPP, if it is inaccurate, you may request that GreenIPP erase that data or cease processing it, subject to certain exceptions, you may also request that GreenIPP cease using your data for direct marketing purposes.

 

If for some reason any of the above rights is denied, GreenIPP will provide an explanation as to why it has been denied.

Information security

To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through use of this Site, we maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards. Your personal data is stored by GreenIPP on its servers, and/or on the servers of the cloud-based database management services GreenIPP engages, located in Europe. GreenIPP retains data for the duration of the customer’s or partner’s business relationship with GreenIPP. Changes to This Privacy Policy

By using this Website, you agree to the terms and conditions contained herein, the general Terms and Conditions, applicable to your relationship with GreenIPP and/or any other agreement or an NDA that we might have signed with you. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions, you should not use the Website or continue any relation already established.

 

As our organization, partners, and overall endeavors develop and change from time to time, this Privacy Statement is subject to change as well. We hereby reserve the right to amend this document at any time, for any reason, without express notice to you, either than posting of the amended Privacy Statement on the Website. The provisions contained herein supersede all previous notices or statements regarding our privacy practices and the terms and conditions applicable thereto and shall be superseded by any expressly concluded NDAs or other official bi-or multilateral contracts you may conclude with GreenIPP.
